Aralam

Aralam wildlife sanctuary is one of the important tourist destination of the  Kerala .It is just 35 km away from Thalasserry and 60 km from Kannur. A wide verity of animals like Elephant,gaur,deer,Nilgirilangur,Hanuman langur,Malabar giant squirrel,jungle cat etc can be found here.Nearest waterfall Meenmutty is an ideal place for relax. Meenmutty waterfall  is one of the important place you must visit during the travel to Aralam wild life sanctuary. 

Along with the wild life sanctuary Aralam is also noted for the presence of a central state farm.This farm is most famous for the production of hybrid coconut seeds in the country.This farm was started  in 1971.
